We are blessed with many different ways of drawing closer together as a community. Everything from midweek bible studies to Davidic Dance worship, we have something for everyone to be blessed with and draw closer to our Creator!
The Hebrew language is a big part of what we do at Adat Eytz Chayim. Besides picking up a little by experiencing our services, we offer focused Hebrew classes for beginners and the more advanced. Ask around and we will help you out!
Every week after service we enjoy Oneg, which is a potluck style meal and time of community fellowship and bonding. If you are new, don’t worry about bringing anything! We are always blessed with enough to share with everyone including visitors.
The study of Torah is a form of worship! Here you will find a wonderful opportunity to study the Torah in an open format that allows for all to participate. We discuss the weekly portion, its connections to the Gospel, and its impact on our modern life. Grab your bible, a refreshing beverage, and prepare to dive deep into the Torah!

This month of Kislev is the darkest month of the Hebrew calendar. The days are getting shorter, and the nights are longer as we approach the winter solstice at the end of Kislev. The darkest weeks are difficult for many people. Just as these seemingly darkening times have been difficult and heavy. However, in the darkest times, HaShem, in His great kindness and compassion, gives us rays of hope.

One thing I have acquired recently is a sense of focus. It’s something I have felt come upon me about a year and a half ago or so. I am not sure if it is something I learned, a side effect of growing older, or a move of the Spirit in my life. Perhaps it’s bits of all three, nevertheless I feel a sense of responsibility to act on my newfound focus. I need to act on this revelation I received and act in faith for the betterment of our community.
